Tyler Guyton — NFL Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft, we will track where Oklahoma Sooners offensive tackle Tyler Guyton appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Tyler Guyton NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Guyton has appeared:
#22 overall, Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles need to start planning for the end of Lane Johnson's career. Why not go shopping at the same store? Guyton, another former Sooner, is one of the most athletically gifted tackles in the class.
#29 overall, Buffalo Bills
Tyler Guyton reminds a bit of Anton Harrison a year ago. He is an incredibly athletic right tackle who is a bit rough around the edges but trending upwards. Buffalo makes an investment in its offensive line after taking O'Cyrus Torrence on Day 2 of the 2023 draft.
#27 overall, Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals address a need on the offensive line with Tyler Guyton, a plug-and-play tackle who should shore up pass protection.
#24 overall, Dallas Cowboys
After the loss to the Packers, I'm sure Cowboys fans were expecting to see a defensive player here. But Tyron Smith might leave in free agency, and if Dallas keeps Tyler Smith at left guard, left tackle shoots to the top of the needs list. Based on his raw traits, Guyton could go much earlier than this.
#21 overall, Miami Dolphins
A former H-back at TCU, Tyler Guyton continues to rise as we get deeper and deeper in the process. One of the most fluid athletes in the class regardless of position, Guyton can win reps with his hands tied behind his back because his footwork is that good. Sliding him into an offense that's as diverse in its movement as any in football would allow Guyton to thrive. Love his game.

#24 overall, Miami Dolphins
Durability has become a concern for the Dolphins' O-line, with Terron Armstead, Robert Hunt and Connor Williams all missing time. Guyton played right tackle for the Sooners, but has the prototypical size and premium athletic traits to switch to the left side in the pros.
#22 overall, Los Angeles Rams
It was surprising how well the Los Angeles Rams' offensive line played this season, but that unit could still use some upgrading at offensive tackle.
The left tackle spot was a mess all season, and who knows how much longer Rob Havenstein will play. Tyler Guyton is a fantastic pass-blocker who would fit nicely into Sean McVay's offense.

#31 overall, San Francisco 49ers
Trent Williams remains a masterpiece of an NFL player as he continues to thrive his way through a Hall of Fame career. Colton McKivitz is the Niners' other offensive tackle, however. That's a concern.
Guyton is a ready-made right tackle who allowed only one sack in two seasons with the Sooners. At 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds he looks the part of a franchise tackle and has the high ceiling San Francisco needs to eventually replace Williams. He's also got experience playing inside, which could be a boon for a team whose entire right side of the line is at least mildly suspect.

The Rams have been a surprise this season, and although they might choose to focus on their young defense, they could use help on the offensive line. Guyton has the footwork and quickness to develop into a starter on either side, although he has played primarily right tackle at Oklahoma. He thrives in space, and although a lot of his scouting report is projection, he has more than enough traits to become an impact blocker at the next level. He has allowed one sack over 511 career pass-blocking snaps.
