Denzel Boston — 2026 NFL Mock Draft Roundup 2.0
Leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, we will track where Washington Huskies wide receiver Denzel Boston appears in the latest NFL mock drafts.
Denzel Boston NFL Mock Drafts
Here are some of the latest mock drafts in which Denzel Boston has appeared:
No. 21 overall — Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers could pull the trigger on quarterback Ty Simpson here, but if not, adding another big-bodied ball-winner could be high on their list of priorities.
No. 24 overall — Cleveland Browns (via JAX)
This could be the spot where the Browns consider a quarterback such as Ty Simpson or Ole Miss' Trinidad Chambliss (if his NCAA appeal is denied again), but the word we heard most often in Mobile was that the Browns will not force a quarterback pick in 2026.
Boston is a massive wide receiver prospect at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds with an excellent ability to win at the catch point. If the Browns decide to roll with Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders at quarterback, they'd be comforted by the fact that Boston's size and great play speed -- plus his 20 touchdowns the past two seasons -- help him win on the outside of the formation. He projects as a true WR1.

No. 27 overall — San Francisco 49ers
A big, physical WR with a massive catch radius, contested-catch ability and the speed to separate quickly and hit top-end velocity in 2-3 steps. Boston is an effective route runner at all three levels, will run through arm tackles in space, and can outmuscle defenders in the red zone. While primarily an outside threat, his size, strength and hands make him a potential matchup problem in the slot, too. Added bonus: he's a legit threat as a punt returner.
No. 27 overall — San Francisco 49ers
In many mock drafts over the past few months, when the 49ers have drafted a wide receiver, it has been Texas A&M's KC Concepcion. But with him off the board, I think they would be just as happy with Boston. Boston isn't the after-the-catch weapon that Concepcion is, but he's a smooth big man with the hands and the route-running ability to win on the outside and in the slot. He earned an 89.7 PFF receiving grade against man coverage in 2025.
The Athletic — Baumgardner/Dochterman
No. 24 overall — Cleveland Browns (via JAX)
Trying to land QB2 in this draft class (whether it's Simpson or another prospect) should be on the table for Cleveland, either by trading up or sticking at 24 and hoping he falls. If that doesn't work, though, landing Boston — a big receiver who runs like a smaller receiver (with great ball skills) — would be a fine alternative.
No. 32 overall — Seattle Seahawks
Despite their offensive success in 2025 (ranked third in points and eighth in yards), the Seahawks could still stand to add a pass catcher to the lineup to complement Jaxon Smith-Njigba. As a supersized playmaker with outstanding leaping ability and ball skills, Boston looks like an unstoppable red-zone weapon.
No. 21 overall — Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers must find someone to complement DK Metcalf. Boston is another big, physical receiver to play opposite the two-time Pro Bowler.
