Cincinnati Reds 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup

We've been tracking MLB mock drafts from various baseball analysts, writers and bloggers via our 2021 MLB Mock Draft Database.

The Cincinnati Reds have the 17th pick in the 2021 MLB Draft and our Cincinnati Reds 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup compiles picks for the Reds in recently-updated mock drafts.

The picks listed below are sorted by when the mock draft was updated (date in parenthesis) with the most recent mocks listed first.

> MLB Tickets: Cincinnati Reds Tickets

MLB.com - Mayo (6/2)
Andrew Painter, RHP, Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)

The Reds could consider a number of high school players here -- from Bubba Chandler to Chase Petty on the mound to Joe Mack and Harry Ford behind the plate -- but we'll give them the big right-hander from Florida this week.

The Athletic - Law (5/27)
Matt Mikulski, LHP, Fordham

Mikulski had a brief dip for a few weeks but has been strong down the stretch, and would allow the Reds to go below slot here (he's a senior) and then go well over at their two extra picks, 30 and 35.

MLB.com - Callis (5/26)
Bubba Chandler, RHP/SS, North Oconee HS (Bogart, Ga.)

Also a Clemson football recruit as a quarterback, Chandler is the Draft's best two-way prospect and teams are split on whether he offers more upside as a right-hander or a shortstop.

ESPN - McDaniel (5/11)
Andrew Painter, RHP, Calvary Christian H.S. (FL), Florida commit

Painter is the consensus second-best prep arm behind Jobe, and Painter checks all the basic boxes with size, delivery, above average-to-plus stuff and track record. There isn't a knockout 70-grade pitch, and the prep righty demographic is scary, but he's doing almost everything he can do.
