Miami Marlins 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup

We've been tracking MLB mock drafts from various baseball analysts, writers and bloggers via our 2021 MLB Mock Draft Database.

The Miami Marlins have the 16th pick in the 2021 MLB Draft and our Miami Marlins 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup compiles picks for the Marlins in recently-updated mock drafts.

The picks listed below are sorted by when the mock draft was updated (date in parenthesis) with the most recent mocks listed first.

> MLB Tickets: Miami Marlins Tickets

MLB.com - Mayo (6/2)
Jordan Wicks, LHP, Kansas State

He's the best college lefty in the Draft and could move quickly to help out the young Marlins in a hurry.

The Athletic - Law (5/27)
Bubba Chandler, RHP/SS, North Oconee (GA) High School

Chandler is committed to Clemson to play quarterback but nobody thinks he's going to get to South Carolina except as a tourist. He's in play as high as the Angels and for a number of teams below here, mostly as a pitcher but with a minority of teams liking his bat.

MLB.com - Callis (5/26)
Harry Ford, C, North Cobb HS (Kennesaw, Ga.)

The Marlins are associated with a lot of the best high school athletes, such as Ford (who can run a 6.42-second 60-yard dash and play anywhere on the diamond), Montgomery and outfielder Will Taylor.

ESPN - McDaniel (5/11)
Kahlil Watson, SS, Wake Forest H.S. (NC), North Carolina State commit

Watson was arguably the best overall hitter on the showcase circuit last summer, but has come out of the gates a little slowly in a later-than-usual start to the North Carolina prep season. He's only an average runner, and my guess is that he ends up at second base, but there's above-average raw power and potential for a plus hitter. Typically when the industry misses the evaluation on a prep hitter, it's because they considered a poor spring too much over a strong summer, so I wouldn't expect Watson to slide that far.
