San Francisco Giants 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup

We've been tracking MLB mock drafts from various baseball analysts, writers and bloggers via our 2021 MLB Mock Draft Database.

The San Francisco Giants have the 14th pick in the 2021 MLB Draft and our San Francisco Giants 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup compiles picks for the Giants in recently-updated mock drafts.

The picks listed below are sorted by when the mock draft was updated (date in parenthesis) with the most recent mocks listed first.

> MLB Tickets: San Francisco Giants Tickets

MLB.com - Mayo (6/2)
Joshua Baez, OF, Dexter Southfield HS (Brookline, Mass.)

This might be a reach for the high-risk, high-reward prep outfielder, but the tools are undeniable, along with the makeup and could be the choice if Montgomery isn't available.

The Athletic - Law (5/27)
Colton Cowser, OF, Sam Houston State

The Giants have taken college players in the first three rounds of each of the last three drafts, and while they're clearly open to taking high school players (more likely hitters if they do), they're probably going to have one of Cowser, Frelick, and McLain available here.

MLB.com - Callis (5/26)
Jordan Wicks, LHP, Kansas State

Montgomery, who might have the best all-around tools in the Draft, and Wicks, clearly the top lefty available, are the two names most often mentioned with the Giants.

ESPN - McDaniel (5/11)
Colton Cowser, CF, Sam Houston State

Cowser got on the national radar during the summer after his freshman year, playing for Team USA and standing out as one of the best pure hitters -- but a bit of a tweener in terms of power/speed -- on a team of high draftees. He's still benefiting from that familiarity with scouts given his mid-major spring competition while developing a little more power, performing well and looking like he can play center field for some teams. All of this has helped him make his way into mid-first-round discussions.
