Seattle Mariners 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup

We've been tracking MLB mock drafts from various baseball analysts, writers and bloggers via our 2021 MLB Mock Draft Database.

The Seattle Mariners have the 12th pick in the 2021 MLB Draft and our Seattle Mariners 2021 MLB Mock Draft Roundup compiles picks for the Mariners in recently-updated mock drafts.

The picks listed below are sorted by when the mock draft was updated (date in parenthesis) with the most recent mocks listed first.

> MLB Tickets: Seattle Mariners Tickets

MLB.com - Mayo (6/2)
Matt McLain, SS, UCLA

The M's might prefer Frelick here, but with him gone in this scenario, they'll go with the potential next best college bat.

The Athletic - Law (5/27)
Sal Frelick, OF, Boston College

McLain's floor might be here; you could flip him and Frelick and change nothing else, if that sort of thing makes you happy. I could see Colton Cowser here too.

MLB.com - Callis (5/26)
Ty Madden, RHP, Texas

After scoring with three straight college pitchers (Logan Gilbert, George Kirby and Emerson Hancock) in the first round, the Mariners could stick with what works and target Madden, Bachman or Kansas State left-hander Jordan Wicks.

ESPN - McDaniel (5/11)
Ryan Cusick, RHP, Wake Forest

Cusick is probably a reliever, but he's been up to 100 mph with the best fastball in the draft (the exact type who gets whiffs up in the zone) and a 55-maybe-60 grade breaking ball, but no real usable third pitch and 45-grade command. It's unlikely he solves the command and third pitch enough to be a 180-inning starter, but he could be a late-inning and/or multi-inning relief option pretty quickly. I would expect a college player to be the pick here.
