The Athletic -- Rank: 31
Be thankful for: A top three draft pick. They are 1-9, one game behind the Jets for the top pick. The Bengals are 2-7 and could catch the Jaguars for the second pick. But every other team has at least three wins. They've been a disaster of a franchise and are staring at six wins or fewer for the ninth time in 10 seasons, which is remarkable in a league that promotes parity. But maybe there's hope for the future if the Jaguars land a franchise quarterback.
CBS Sports -- Rank: 31
Jake Luton played like a rookie against the Steelers, which means he can't be the long-term answer. They will be drafting that guy.
USA Today -- Rank: 31
RB James Robinson needs just 318 more yards from scrimmage to break rookie record (1,328) for an undrafted player established by Dominic Rhodes in 2001.
ESPN -- Rank: 31
What they're thankful for: RB James Robinson
Robinson is one of the very few bright spots for the Jaguars. He has been their best offensive player, is third in the NFL in rushing behind Derrick Henry and Dalvin Cook with 762 yards, and is the fifth undrafted rookie in NFL history to reach 1,000 scrimmage yards. If he stays healthy, he should break Dominic Rhodes' NFL record for most yards from scrimmage by an undrafted rookie (1,328 in 2001) rather easily. -- Mike DiRocco

You had a feeling the Steelers' top-ranked pass rush would present a doomsday scenario for rookie quarterback Jake Luton, and four interceptions and a 27-3 loss later, that's pretty much exactly how it played out. Luton has not provided a spark to the offense in his three starts, and it feels like time for Doug Marrone to hand the reins back to Gardner Minshew if the second-year QB is healthy enough to return. Of course, that's where the gray area comes into play. The Jaguars are on a nine-game losing streak and could be a well-targeted Sam Darnold spiral away from owning the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. We don't want to be too cynical here, but six more starts by Luton might be exactly what the Jaguars need.
