2021 NFL Power Rankings: Arizona Cardinals

Throughout the 2021 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Arizona Cardinals rank in terms of average, best and worst:

Below you will find a Week 3 roundup for the Cardinals in our consensus 2021 NFL Power Rankings.

ESPN -- Rank: 7

Fantasy surprise: WR Rondale Moore

It's easy now for quarterback Kyler Murray to say that he expected the rookie wideout to have had this big of an immediate impact, but no one knew how good Moore would be this early. He leads the Cardinals in receiving with 183 yards and a touchdown. His speed makes him an threat every time he is on the field. And coach Kliff Kingsbury said he has been developing more assuredness in Moore's abilities: "You see the dynamic stuff he can do in space when he gets the ball. That first guy rarely tackles him. He's got legit 4.29 speed or whatever it was he ran, and he's starting to get more and more confidence." -- Josh Weinfuss

NFL.com -- Rank: 10

Sure, the Cardinals got a massive helping hand from the latest Vikings kicker to go down in infamy, but let's not lose sight of the big picture in Arizona: The Cardinals are fun, and Kyler Murray is going to be a major player in the MVP race this season as long as he can stay healthy. A November shoulder injury sunk both the QB and his team a season ago, but the first two weeks of a new season have served as a reminder of how dangerous this offense can be when Murray is at his best. Murray is getting more help, too: Rookie wideout Rondale Moore (7/114/1 vs. Minnesota) looks like the complement to DeAndre Hopkins the team never found in 2020.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 4

They are 2-0, but they looked bad on defense in beating Minnesota. The offense bailed them out in a big way.

USA Today -- Rank: 5

Not hard to argue Christian Kirk and rookie Rondale Moore have been their best receivers through two games, so this four-wide package should be devastating once DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green heat up.

The Athletic -- Rank: 7

How fun is Kyler Murray? Cardinals games can be a roller coaster, and Murray does have three picks this season, but he's also completed 73.5 percent of his passes and has seven touchdown throws. He's found the end zone more times this season (nine) than several teams and threw for 400 yards against the Vikings. While this is a crucial year for both Murray and more so head coach Kliff Kingsbury, several teams would be more than happy to have Murray as their guy.
