Indianapolis Colts Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Indianapolis Colts Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Indianapolis Colts from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

For a more inclusive lists of mock drafts for the Indianapolis Colts, check out our 2021 Indianapolis Colts Mock Draft Database.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Colts:

Pro Football Network - DiCecco (6/7)
19) Indianapolis Colts: Samuel Cosmi, OT Texas

The Colts identify Anthony Costanzo's eventual replacement in Cosmi, an athletic offensive lineman with experience playing both tackle positions.

Fox Sports - McIntyre (6/7)
25. Indianapolis Colts -- Xavier Thomas, Edge, Clemson

The Colts really thought DeForest Buckner would solve their anemic pass rush problems? I'm surprised they didn't add to the position in the draft. Thomas was a 5-star recruit who had a slightly disappointing 2019.

Walter Football (5/19)
27. Indianapolis Colts: Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama

The Colts' greatest weakness is at cornerback, so they'll have to address that position soon. Josh Jobe is a big, athletic cornerback with tremendous upside.

CBS Sports - Edwards (5/12)
14. Indianapolis Colts: Eric Stokes, DB, Georgia

Indianapolis drafted Rock Ya-Sin in Round 2 a few years ago and signed Xavier Rhodes this offseason. Rhodes, who Minnesota parted with this offseason, is likely not the solution for the Colts.

CBS Sports - Trapasso (5/4)
22. Indianapolis Colts: Carlos Basham Jr., EDGE, Wake Forest

The Colts need more juice around the corner on their defensive line. Basham moves amazingly for a big, thick edge rusher.

PFF - Renner (4/30)
21. Indianapolis Colts -- TE Pat Freiermuth, Penn State

Freiermuth has prototypical-tight end size at 6-foot-5 and 259 pounds. While the Gronk comparisons are a little rich for me, that's the type of tight end you're getting in Freiermuth at least. He's a jumbo route-runner who defenders just bounce off. He broke nine tackles on 43 catches last season.

San Diego Union Tribune (4/29)
22. Indianapolis (28/1) -- Quincy Roche, Edge, Miami

Roche will pair with Rousseau to form one of the nation's most ferocious pass rushes in South Beach. He had 13 sacks and six pass breakups for the Temple Owls last year.

SI - Hanson (4/27)
21. Indianapolis Colts: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford

Colts general manager Chris Ballard thinks that Xavier Rhodes “can still be a high performer” for them, but even if he returns to his earlier form, he signed a one-year deal. While he wasn't as good in coverage in 2019 as 2018, Adebo has good length and outstanding ball skills, with four interceptions in each of the previous two seasons.

Bleacher Report - Miller (4/27)
25. Indianapolis Colts -- WR Rondale Moore, Purdue

The Colts may be an early mock-draft favorite to draft a quarterback, but Jacob Eason had a potential-starter grade on my 2020 draft board and shouldn't be counted out from winning the job in 2021 once Philip Rivers and Jacoby Brissett are no longer under contract.

Whether it's one of the aforementioned veteran players or Eason, they'll need more help at receiver even after the Colts drafted a big target in Michael Pittman Jr. Purdue's Rondale Moore is a burner with elite yards-after-catch ability. While he may be undersized (5'9", 180 lbs), he offers a skill set that teams will be hard-pressed to bypass in Round 1.

SB Nation - Kadar (4/27)
20. Indianapolis Colts: Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama

If the Colts want to upgrade over Anthony Walker, the 2021 draft looks like it might be a good at linebacker. Moses was considered the best linebacker prospect in the nation before getting injured last season.

The Athletic - Brugler (4/27)
21. Indianapolis Colts -- Elijah Molden, CB, Washington

Lining up inside and outside for the Huskies, Molden is next in the pipeline of Washington defensive backs headed for the league. With his short-area quickness, reflexes and nose for the football, he led the Pac-12 with 17 passes defended last season.
