2020 NFL Power Rankings: Green Bay Packers

Throughout the 2020 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Green Bay Packers rank in terms of average, best and worst:

Below you will find a Week 11 roundup for the Packers in our consensus 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

The Athletic -- Rank: 3

Even for really good teams, there are going to be weird games like the Packers had Sunday against the Jaguars. It kept feeling like Green Bay would get going and build a double-digit lead, but that never happened, and the Packers needed to win it in the fourth quarter. They got a big game out of Marquez Valdes-Scantling (149 yards), and I loved the way Davante Adams sold the run fake before exploding outside on his game-winning touchdown.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 4

They beat the Jaguars with a lackluster showing. They better not play that way against the Colts this week.

USA Today -- Rank: 5

David Bakhtiari's $100M+ extension is well deserved ... and signed not a minute too soon given the way his fellow left tackles have gone by the wayside in 2020.

ESPN -- Rank: 3

What would they take back: Drafting Jordan Love in the first round

One of general manager Brian Gutekunst's tasks is to find the quarterback of the future, but with the way Aaron Rodgers has played this season, that future could be a long way off. To be sure, Gutekunst couldn't have known Rodgers would return to his MVP level; but in hindsight, the GM might have been better off by trading up to take, say, linebacker Patrick Queen or a wide receiver instead of moving up to pick a quarterback. Now, even if Rodgers continues to play at this level, the Packers are going to have to turn to Love to find out if he can play, perhaps moving on from Rodgers too soon. -- Rob Demovsky

NFL.com -- Rank: 5

The combination of chemistry and skill between Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams is incredible to watch. We saw it in the most important play on Sunday, when Rodgers fooled the Jaguars' defensive line with a gorgeous play-action fake, and Adams lulled rookie cornerback C.J. Henderson to sleep before exploding to the outside to high-point Rodgers' pass for a 6-yard touchdown. They were the deciding points in a 24-20 win over the surprisingly stubborn Jaguars. Adams didn't go it alone in this one: Marquez Valdes-Scantling had four catches for 149 yards, including a 78-yard score to put Green Bay on the board. The Packers need more balance in their passing attack, and it was on MVS to provide on Sunday. He got it done.
