Fantasy surprise: WR Cooper Kupp
Kupp is no stranger to fantasy rosters, but his production through two games has exceeded expectation. With quarterback Matthew Stafford, Kupp has produced back-to-back games of more than 100 receiving yards and already has three receiving touchdowns, as many as he had in all of 2020. Kupp has quickly become Stafford's go-to target on explosive plays, and their relationship is only in its infancy, so it's sure to grow as the season evolves. -- Lindsey Thiry

"I need a beer," Sean McVay joked as he headed off the podium following the Rams' 27-24 win over the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. McVay's team triumphed on the road to improve to 2-0, but it wasn't pretty: The offense sputtered for stretches, and a colossal special teams miscue nearly swung the game in the opposite direction. But the growing mind-meld between Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp produced the splash plays the Rams needed to survive and advance. Kupp (9/163/2) is the first Rams player since at least 1950 with 100-plus receiving yards and at least one touchdown in each of the team's first two games of the season. All-Pro campaigns may be brewing for both stars.
CBS Sports -- Rank: 3
They are 2-0 after beating the Colts on the road, but now face a huge home game with the Bucs. This will be the first major test for Matt Stafford as quarterback of the Rams.
USA Today -- Rank: 2
However this group, which handled the Bucs in Tampa last season before the eventual Super Bowl champs started their historic run, might have something to say Sunday when they lock horns at SoFi Stadium. Matthew Stafford's 127.0 QB rating is nearly 40 points above his career average.
The Athletic -- Rank: 2
How could Rams fans not feel good about Matthew Stafford? How good does Stafford feel in Sean McVay's offense, throwing to his new best friend Cooper Kupp? Things weren't as easy in Indianapolis as they were in the opener against the Bears, and Stafford threw his first pick, but also two touchdowns in the win. The challenge ratchets up this week against the defending Super Bowl champs.
