Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Roundup 1.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Minnesota Vikings from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Vikings:

Pro Football Network - DiCecco (6/7)
18) Minnesota Vikings: Walker Little, OT Stanford

Despite their efforts every offseason, the Vikings always manage to field the worst offensive line in football. Little's technique will need some refinement at the next level, but the upside-laden offensive lineman has the potential to emerge as one the best from this class in due time.

Fox Sports - McIntyre (6/7)
14. Minnesota Vikings -- Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State

Reports say Wade is expect to move from slot corner to outside, and another strong season could make him the 2nd corner take in the 2021 draft.

Walter Football (5/19)
21. Minnesota Vikings: Jay Tufele, DT, USC

The Vikings have needed a starting defensive tackle next to Linval Joseph for quite some time. Now, they need a starter next to Michael Pierce.

Jay Tufele is an extremely athletic and agile 310-pound defensive tackle who could be chosen in the top half of the draft, whenever he declares.

CBS Sports - Edwards (5/12)
24. Minnesota Vikings: Wyatt Davis, OL, Ohio State

Minnesota fortifies its interior offensive line with the Ohio State product. Davis could have been a first-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, had he entered.

CBS Sports - Trapasso (5/4)
26. Minnesota Vikings: Jaylen Twyman, DL, Pittsburgh

How about a one-gap interior penetrator in Minnesota. Perfect. Twyman has a plethora of pass-rushing moves and plays with noticeable power at the point of attack.

PFF - Renner (4/30)
20. Minnesota Vikings -- DI Christian Barmore, Alabama

There's a good chance Barmore ends up even higher than this. We barely got to see him until Alabam's final five games of last year, and then he averaged three pressures a game over that span. On 269 snaps, Barmore earned an 87.8 overall grade for the season.

San Diego Union Tribune (4/29)
20. Minnesota (28/1) -- Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse

A true ballhawk, Cisco has 12 interceptions and 14 pass breakups in two seasons with the Orange.

SI - Hanson (4/27)
18. Minnesota Vikings: Marvin Wilson, IDL, Florida State

While his 2019 season ended prematurely due to injury, Wilson was one of the few bright spots for the Seminoles last season. The former five-star recruit received a first-round grade from the NFL Draft Advisory Board and he finished last season with 8.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in only nine games.

Bleacher Report - Miller (4/27)
18. Minnesota Vikings -- DL Tyler Shelvin, LSU

Bolstering the middle of the defense was something we thought the Vikings might do in 2020 before going all-in on wide receiver, cornerback and a developmental left tackle. That's OK, as there is a nose tackle prospect in 2021 that'll have folks thinking Derrick Brown all over again.

Tyler Shelvin would have been a first-rounder if he entered the 2020 draft class. He's already regarded as one of the best defensive tackles in college and will only improve that status with another monster season in Baton Rouge.

SB Nation - Kadar (4/27)
22. Minnesota Vikings: Richard LeCounte, S, Georgia

Anthony Harris is playing on the franchise tag this season and might price himself out of Minnesota. If he does, the Vikings could maintain the strength of the position with LeCounte, a free safety with ball skills.

The Athletic - Brugler (4/27)
23. Minnesota Vikings -- Carlos Basham, edge, Wake Forest

“Boogie” Basham would have been a top-50 pick if he entered the 2020 NFL Draft, leading the team with 18.0 tackles for loss and 11.0 sacks in 2019. He softens the edge with his physical hands, and his relentless nature leads to production.
