Tennessee Titans Mock Draft Roundup 1.0
Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Tennessee Titans Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Tennessee Titans from several prominent sites and draft analysts.
The Athletic - Dane Brugler (5/3)
18. Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern
Northwestern produced a first-round offensive lineman last year with Rashawn Slater, and there is a good chance it does it again with Skoronski. Although he will probably kick inside at the next level, his mix of intelligence, technique and football character is off the charts.
Draft Wire - Luke Easterling (5/3)
18. Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame
This offense desperately needs a complete tight end who can help clear the road for Derrick Henry in the run game, but also challenge defenses as a receiving thread. Mayer checks all of those boxes, and is a red-zone machine.
Fox Sports - Jason McIntyre (5/3)
18. B.J. Ojulari, EDGE, LSU
This is the younger brother of Azeez Ojulari, a 2021 pick by the Giants. BJ had seven sacks and 11.5 TFLs in 2021 and projects as one of the best pass-rushers in the SEC for 2022.
PFF - Michael Renner (5/2)
19. Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern
Skoronski took over for Rashawn slater as a true freshman in 2020 and the offense barely missed a beat. He's earned overall grades of 81.4 and 83.8 in his two seasons as a starter.
CBS - Ryan Wilson (5/2)
19. Dontay Demus Jr., WR, Maryland
The Titans shipped A.J. Brown to Philly and drafted Treylon Burks, but there's room for more playmakers at the position. Whether it's Ryan Tannehill or Malik Willis at QB, Demus would be a welcome addition to the WR room.
The Draft Network - Joe Marino (4/30)
18. Kayshon Boutte, WR, LSU
The Titans needed wide receiver help before trading away A.J. Brown. Adding Boutte to go with Robert Woods and Treylon Burks gives Tennessee an exciting trio of weapons at receiver for whoever the starting quarterback is in 2023.
The 33rd Team - Michael Schottey (4/30)
18. B.J. Ojulari, EDGE, LSU
The Titans have worked to rebuild their offense this offseason and in the draft, but that defense has always been a big piece of their identity. Ojulari is another one of those players that feels really low, but (as you can see) this class currently has a lot of those kind of names. He had a good season last year, but has a chance to truly be a game changer for new LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly and his staff.
Pro Football Network - Cam Mellor (4/30)
17. Jordan Addison, WR, Pittsburgh
Hailing from a dominant season with Kenny Pickett as his quarterback, Jordan Addison appears to have completed the Pittsburgh portion of his career and is set to transfer to USC. However, as tampering allegations have surfaced surrounding USC as his destination, he's listed with Pittsburgh here.
Addison, though, is a terrific receiver and won the Biletnikoff Award in 2021. He has terrific body control and the ability to shield his routes from cornerbacks with deceptive moves along his route breaks. Furthermore, he has sound hands. The Tennessee Titans moved on from A.J. Brown and drafted Treylon Burks, but they still need a WR1 for presumably Malik Willis to throw to in 2023.
Barstool Sports - Steven Cheah (4/30)
18. Nolan Smith, EDGE, Georgia
Surprisingly the Titans didn't take an EDGE rusher in the 2022 Draft and choose to stand pat on Bud Dupree and Harold Landry. Smith gives them a shot in the arm at the position.
