NFL Playoffs - Longest Active Playoff Droughts

Since there are only 12 NFL teams that make the postseason every year, that means there is always exactly 20 NFL teams that did not make the playoffs.

Currently, no team has missed the playoffs in more consecutive seasons than the Cleveland Browns (16). The good news for Browns' fans is that only four teams have better Super Bowl odds heading into the 2019 NFL season. At a minimum, they are currently the favorites, according to Vegas, to win the AFC North.

Obviously, if the Browns win their division, they will end their playoff drought.
