With 14 NFL teams making the postseason (starting with the 2020-21 NFL season), there are 18 NFL teams that did not make the playoffs.

Currently, no team has missed the playoffs in more consecutive seasons than the New York Jets (10) as the Cleveland Browns have ended their 17-season playoff drought.
