2018 NFL Mock Draft - Buffalo Bills Mock Draft
On this page, you will find all of our picks for the Buffalo Bills in the 2018 NFL Mock Draft from Kevin Hanson.
Here are the picks in our 2018 NFL Mock Draft for the Bills:
*** PROJECTED MOCK TRADE: Buffalo trades both 2018 first-rounders (12th/22nd) and their 2019 first-rounder to Giants for the 2nd overall pick. ***
Round 1 - #2: Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming
This is where the draft gets interesting.
Will the Giants stay put and draft the best player available (not a quarterback)? Will they take advantage of a rare opportunity of holding such a high pick to draft Eli Manning's successor? Or parlay this pick into a slew of additional picks by trading back to a QB-needy team like Buffalo?
Free-agent addition A.J. McCarron, signed to a two-year, $10 million contract, will be the Week 1 starter, but he was given backup money. The question here comes down to which Josh do the Bills prefer: Rosen or Allen? While Rosen is more pro-ready, Allen has more upside if he's able to fulfill his potential. A low collegiate completion percentage is a concern, but Allen has prototypical size, rare arm talent and excellent mobility.
Not only do the Bills have a pair of first-round picks, but they have two second-rounders and two third-rounders (at the moment). So, in other words, the Bills have the ammunition and flexibility to package picks to move up in front of the Jets and get their choice of non-Darnold QBs.
Round 2 - #53: Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama
Round 2 - #56: Michael Gallup, WR, Colorado State
Round 3 - #65: Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame
Round 3 - #96: Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State
Round 4 - #121: Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State
Round 5 - #166: Hercules Mata'afa, DE, Washington State
