Oh, if there were only one thing. On offense, the Packers have the lowest six-game point total in any six games of Aaron Rodgers' career. Even without Davante Adams, this was not the expectation because of guys like Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. The defense, loaded with first-round picks and high-priced free agents that had everyone projecting them as a top-tier defense, still can't stop the run. And even the special teams that looked vastly improved reverted Sunday and had both a field goal and a punt blocked. That's how an overwhelming division favorite can recede to mediocrity so quickly.

This is no longer just about an underachieving defense or an offense trying to find itself. The entire operation seems to be out of sync in Green Bay, where the Packers fell back to .500 with a lopsided loss to the Jets at Lambeau. After the game, a beaten-down Aaron Rodgers spoke of removing complexities within the offense -- a well-worn trope for players questioning the philosophies of a coaching staff. "I'm not attacking anything," Rodgers said. "I just think that, based on how we've played the last two weeks, I think it's going to be in our best interests to simplify things for everybody. ... Just simplify some things, and maybe that'll help us get back on track."

They have a lot of issues, and Aaron Rodgers is one of them right now. They can't score and the defense has run-game issues.

You'd think it's a good time to get out of Wisconsin after suffering a surprise sweep at the hands of New York's finest. But the Pack's next three are on the road, where they've lost four of six — not including the Week 5 setback in London.

What if Mahomes and Allen go the way of Brady and Aaron Rodgers? Do we want to see Mahomes divorcing Andy Reid in eight years and signing a free-agent deal with the Jaguars or something? Is Allen going to stay in Buffalo long enough for the cold to make him such an independent thinker that he spends more time thinking of ways to trigger sheeple than keeping his wide receivers happy? Nothing gold can stay.

As plodding as the Packers' offense has been, the defense has arguably been the biggest disappointment, ranking 24th in DVOA and 32nd against the run. A get-right trip to suburban Maryland looms as the Packers' natural remedy.

Much has been made of the Packers' ineptitude on offense, and rightfully so with future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers ranking 24th in EPA per dropback (-0.07), but the defense deserves its own share of the blame. Overall, the Green Bay defense ranks 20thth overall in success rate (57.8), but the run defense ranks 30th in defensive EPA per rush (-0.05) and 25th in yards before first contact allowed per attempt (1.79). Even before allowing 179 yards and two touchdowns on the ground against the Jets in Week 6, the Packers ranked 32nd in EPA per rush allowed (0.25) when playing two-high coverages, according to PFF's Mike Renner. Offenses are having their way with a Packers team that has spent each of its last three first-round picks on defense, and Rodgers—for the first time in awhile—isn't making up for it on the other end.

There are a lot of 3-3 teams that should be much better than their record. Do I think both New York teams are really better than Green Bay? Probably not. But over the last six quarters against the Giants and Jets, the Packers were outscored 44-12 and lost both games. The only thing keeping the Packers even this high is their past accomplishments and reputation, because this season hasn't been that good.
