2021 NFL Power Rankings: Seattle Seahawks

Throughout the 2021 NFL season, we will compile a consensus NFL Power Rankings that averages the rankings of all 32 NFL teams.

Here is where the Seattle Seahawks rank in terms of average, best and worst:

Below you will find a Week 11 roundup for the Seahawks in our consensus 2021 NFL Power Rankings.

ESPN -- Rank: 23

Most important remaining game: Sunday vs. Cardinals

Seattle needs a miracle to catch the Cardinals or Rams in the NFC West standings. But with Kyler Murray and backup Colt McCoy both hurting, Sunday's game looks like an opportunity for the Seahawks to get one of the upset wins they likely need for a 9-8 finish and a shot at the conference's seventh playoff spot. There's a good chance they'll be favored in five remaining games (versus Washington, Houston, Chicago, Detroit and San Francisco). If they win all five -- and that's a big if for a 3-6 team -- they'd need to beat a favored opponent to get to nine wins. Arizona's quarterback issues could give the Seahawks their best chance at that this Sunday. -- Brady Henderson

NFL.com -- Rank: 22

It may be unfair to say Russell Wilson launched a PR assault to celebrate his early return from finger surgery, but it sure felt like the Seahawks quarterback was trying to top Adele for the biggest event on television this weekend. The Return did not go to plan, however: Wilson looked like a shell of himself after the four-week layoff, and the Seahawks were shut out for the first time ever with their star quarterback under center. Wilson's passer rating (39.7) was the fourth-lowest of his career, as the offense wasted a strong performance by an improving Seattle defense that held Aaron Rodgers to three points through the first three quarters. The 2021 Seahawks may never find a way to put it all together.

CBS Sports -- Rank: 22

At 3-6, they are in real danger of being out of the playoffs. Even with Russell Wilson back, the offense was nonexistent against the Packers.

USA Today -- Rank: 23

You'd have to say Sunday was the worst game of QB Russell Wilson's NFL career -- it was definitively the first time he'd been shut out as a pro. Unless Seattle rips off six wins in the last eight weeks, this will be the worst season of Wilson's career -- meaning his first below .500.

The Athletic -- Rank: 23

Steal a player: David Bakhtiari, Packers offensive tackle

The Seahawks have plenty of places they could use help, but whatever they do this season must be built around Russell Wilson, so this move is all about making life as easy on him as possible. Wilson has been sacked on 8.8 percent of his dropbacks this season, his second-highest percentage since 2013. His QBR is 50.5, which would stand as the lowest of his career by a wide margin. The Seattle quarterback needs a healthy finger and more help. Bakhtiari, the Packers tackle, would provide it.
