Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup 7.0

Throughout the year and leading up to the 2021 NFL draft, we will update our Tampa Bay Buccaneers Mock Draft Roundup showing picks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from several prominent sites and draft analysts.

The following are picks in recent mock drafts for the Bucs:

EDSFootball - Donahue (3/23)

32. Levi Onwuzurike, IDL, Washington

It's hard to find many holes on the defending Super Bowl champions' roster, but depending on whether or not they bring back Ndamukong Suh may create one. The Buccaneers led the league last year in rushing yards allowed per game at only 80.6, which is even more impressive when you see the Colts, who were the second-best team, allowed 90.5 per game. His tape is a bit inconsistent, but being able to line up next to an anchor like Vita Vea should allow him to flash some of his high-end potential more often and utilize his versatility.

NFL.com - Brooks (3/23)

32. Mac Jones, QB, Alabama

Tom Brady just signed an extension at age 43, but the Bucs could grab a successor to learn from the G.O.A.T. over the next few years.

The Athletic - Beat Writers (3/23)

22. Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama

Trade: Tampa sent picks No. 32 and No. 95 to Tennessee for pick No. 22.

The run on offensive players early in the draft means the best defensive lineman is still available this late in the first round. The Bucs don't have a ton of immediate needs, but defensive line is one, with Ndamukong Suh at 34 nearing the end of his career. The cost to move up wasn't much -- the No. 32 pick and their third-rounder, No. 95 overall -- and they get another force at the line of scrimmage to go with Vita Vea while adding a dose of youth to the NFL's No. 1 run defense. -- Greg Auman

ESPN - Kiper (3/22)

32. Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama

The Bucs have spent free agency getting the band back together for another season, with wide receiver Chris Godwin, tight end Rob Gronkowski and edge rusher Shaquil Barrett among the players who have been re-signed. Barmore could be a replacement for Ndamukong Suh, who doesn't yet have a free-agent deal. Barmore was a game-wrecker down the stretch for the Crimson Tide, with five sacks in his final five games. He would be an outstanding fit next to nose tackle Vita Vea, who has emerged as one of the most dominant defensive linemen in the NFL.

CBS Sports - Wilson (3/22)

32. Najee Harris, RB, Alabama

The Bucs don't *need* a running back, but Harris had such an impressive 2020 season for Alabama and he would be a big upgrade from Leonard Fournette. We can only imagine how Bruce Arians would find ways to use him in Tampa Bay.

PFF - Renner (3/22)

32. Najee Harris, RB, Alabama

A "luxury" pick for a team that quite frankly doesn't have many open spots on the roster after they ran it back in free agency. Harris' hands and tackle-breaking ability in space are night and day from any other back on the Bucs' roster.
