2017 NFL Mock Draft - Sean Beazley

- Updated: Tuesday, April 25th

Here are picks 17-32 of my 2017 NFL Mock Draft:

*** Proposed trade: Lions/Redskins ***

17. Detroit Lions (Draft History): Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan

I think the Redskins are another team who will be looking to move back. The Lions could wait and see which pass rusher falls in their laps (if any) or they could move up a few spots and get the guy they want. Detroit was near the bottom of the league in sacks last year so Charlton should be a good fit.

18. Tennessee Titans, (Draft History): John Ross, WR, Washington

Two day one offensive weapons for the Titans. The draft is very deep in the secondary, so I feel that they could wait and find some DB help later. Ross gives the Titans a deep threat. I also believe that the Titans didn't pull the trigger on a Brandin Cooks deal because they liked the possibility of drafting Ross.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Draft History): Charles Harris, DE, Missouri

Tampa could use some help on the D-Line. Harris is the best available defensive lineman on the board.

20. Denver Broncos (Draft History): Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama

The Broncos offensive line was pretty mediocre last season. I would be shocked to see them pass up on a tackle here.

21. Washington Redskins (Draft History): Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado

I like the Redskins to add a CB to start opposite of Josh Norman. Awuzie is my top corner left on the board.

22. Miami Dolphins (Draft History): Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida

I considered going O-Line here, but I think adding a LB is just as important for the Dolphins. Davis fits a need for the Fish.

23. New York Giants (Draft History): Garett Bolles, OT, Utah

The Giants need help on the offensive line. I think Bolles is the man they are targeting for this pick.

24. Oakland Raiders (Draft History): Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State

McDowell is the top interior defensive linemen in this draft. The Raiders run defense at times last year was pretty poor. McDowell fills a big need up front.

25. Houston Texans (Draft History): Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson

The AFC South is straight up killing this draft with offensive talent. The Texans need a franchise QB, and I believe Watson is too good to pass on here.

26. Seattle Seahawks (Draft History): Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin

Seattle needs to upgrade their O-Line. Ramczyk is the best player on the board.

27. Kansas City Chiefs (Draft History): Forest Lamp, G, Western Kentucky

I debated this pick for awhile. I originally had Patrick Mahomes II penciled in, but feel Lamp is the best fit here. Lamp is easily the best guard in this draft class.

28. Dallas Cowboys (Draft History): Teez Tabor, CB, Florida

With the Cowboys losing Mo Claiborne and Brandon Carr this offseason, I believe a CB is a must-add for them In the draft. Tabor is very athletic and is on the Cowboys radar.

29. Green Bay Packers (Draft History): Kevin King, CB, Washington

King is the fifth corner to be drafted in Round 1. There is no question that the Packers could use some help in the secondary. King, I believe, is a good fit here.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers (Draft History): David Njoku, TE, Miami (FL)

I was tempted to draft Mahomes here, given that Ben Roethlisberger had hinted at retirement, but I believe they try to add a piece to help them win another Super Bowl. Njoku is a good fit to his offense.

31. Atlanta Falcons (Draft History): Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State

There is little doubt here that the Falcons will be addressing the defensive side of the ball after their Super Bowl collapse. Willis will provide the Falcons with another edge rusher opposite Vic Beasley.

32. New Orleans Saints (Draft History), via NE: Obi Melifonwu, S, Connecticut

I really like this pick for the Saints here. Melifonwu is a freakish athlete with very good ball skills. The Saints need all the help they can get on defense.
